Charlie Pilon and Lyn Stewart have taken out the Club Champion titles at Wagga Wagga Country Club for 2025.
Charlie shot to the top of the leaderboard with a third round 69 to go back-to-back in Men’s A grade.
Charlie won by four shots from Kurt Pideski, whose chances were blown with a second round 85.
Lyn Stewart claimed the Women’s A Grade title for the first time since 2020. It was her third Club Championships victory.
Lyn prevailed by one shot after a thrilling battle with nine-time champion Sandra Schultz.
The pair went shot for shot over the 72-hole tournament with the battle going all the way to the last hole.
Other winners in the women’s division was Sally Short (B grade) and Lorraine Thompson (C grade). Mervyn Lawson took out the 9-Hole Championship.
In the men’s, Ryan Walsh won B grade and Brad Ryan took out C grade. Club captain Dennis Schultz won the Veteran’s title, while Jesse Barac won the Junior division.
