Hole 2 and 11

One of the most picturesque tee shots on the course awaits players as they climb the hill from the 1st green to the 2nd tee. A long par 5 that plays heavily downhill from the tee before dog-legging left and climbing slightly back up the hill to a distant green.

Two fairway bunkers protect the left side of the fairway off the tee, while bunkers on both the right and left must also be avoided on the second shot. This hole is reachable in two shots for long hitters and provides the first real birdie opportunity of the round. Playing in a south-westerly direction, it’s best tackled before the sea breeze arrives.
