Legends PRO AM 2024

The Busselton Golf Club’s Legends PRO AM

Busselton Golf Club was the vibrant setting for an unforgettable weekend of golfing excellence on the 25^th and 26^th May. The highly anticipated Legends PRO AM brought together a stellar lineup of PGA Legends and enthusiastic amateurs for a 36-hole event that showcased skill, camaraderie, and sportsmanship.

Past champions and seasoned professionals mixed with amateur players, forming dynamic partnerships added an extra layer of excitement to the tournament. The course buzzed with energy as legends shared their knowledge and experience, guiding their amateur counterparts through the challenges of each hole.

Over the course of two days, players tested their mettle and skills across 36 exhilarating holes. From strategic drives to delicate putts, every swing held the promise of victory and the thrill of competition.

Mark Boulton – a four time winner in his rookie season in 2023 – was the only player to break par for the two rounds, his 36 hole total on 1-under putting him four strokes clear of Stuart Beament (72) with West Australians Brendan Chant (74) and Scott Barr (77) sharing third.

The Legends PRO AM wasn’t just about scores and rankings: it was about the connections forged and friendships made both on and off the course. Amidst the lush greenery and rolling fairways of the Busselton Golf Club, players came together to celebrate their shared love of golf.

As the sun set on the Busselton Golf Club, the Legends PRO AM left an indelible mark on the hearts of those who had the privilege of being part of this iconic event. It wasn’t just a tournament: it was an experience, a journey, and a celebration of the enduring spirit of golf that transcends the generations and brings us all together on the greens.
